Got the blues because of Blu Ray updates

Hello friends,
If anyone could help me, I would greatly appreciate it.

My Samsung blu ray player is frozen on a screen stating about update is needed. But it's locked up and won't let me go any further. It also will not eject the DVD in it.

Any ideas?

How long have you had it? I would take it back and see what the sales person says? What about a bad cracker, would you get your money back from the grocery store if they sold you a stale cracker? Just sayin!
