Facebook - conformation code not receivingClosed

Question

Hello, 

I locked myself out of facebook and can't remember my password.  When I try to reset FB displays both my correct cell and correct email but I do not receive a confirmation code to reset the password.  The email is not going into my spam/junk.  How can I regain access to my account. 

System Configuration: Windows / Chrome 60.0.3112.90

I am able to access my FB account on my desktop.  I am unable to access FB on my mobile device (had to reload FB bc received a new phone)  On desktop unable to reset PW since FB requires you to enter your current PW first.  The issue is that although my correct cell and email appear for confirmation code to be sent,  I am not receiving via cell or email any confirmation codes which is incredibly strange???   And emails are not going to my spam. 
I prefer to have access to FM on my mobile devices.  Am at a loss for next steps.
