Kicking off its week at CES, LG will hold a press conference with a Livestream session for users to tune in.
On Tuesday, the 5 of January 2016, LG will hold a press conference to kick off its busy week at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. But, for users who couldn't make it all the way out to the show, LG is also hosting a Livestream session so enthusiasts can tune in from anywhere. At 8am PST, the press conference will become live on the web. From smartphones, to smart TVs, to devices for the smart home, users are anxiously awaiting what LG has in store this year.
Among the tech to be unveiled at the show this week is LG's newest Internet of Things control device: a Smart Hub that can control your smart home appliances and give you notifications on a 3.5-inch display. Also expected is the company's flexible OLED display prototypes, which can be rolled up without damage. The newest generation of webOS is also expected to have an unveiling at the show, with integration in the company's newest smart TVs with features like Magic Mobile Connection and Magic Zoom. Speaking of which, LG is also expected to show off some colossal 8K televisions, sitting at a resolution of 7680x4320p. And thanks to LG's partnership with Xumo, there is plenty of free content for users to access from their LG smart TVs.
