Thanks to a new partnership, users can now send animated GIFs on Tinder.
"Each day, 26 million new matches are made on Tinder around the world," touted Tinder in an official blog post yesterday. "But what if you want to communicate with your matches using more than text? We have you covered with our newest update." This new update enables users to send animated GIFs in messages over Tinder with the addition of a new button. "To send a GIF to a match," explained the company, "simply tap the blue button to search collections of millions of GIFs. With so many options, we promise there's a GIF for any situation."
Also included in Tinder's new update is the ability for users to "Like" a message via a green heart icon next to a message. A new camera roll feature now lets users upload their profile picture from their phone's camera roll. Additionally, Tinder is jumping on the emoji-craze bandwagon, and placing the expressive icons more front-and-center by making Emoji much larger in the message box. iPhone 6 users can also enjoy an added feature which uses Apple's 3D touch, allowing those users to preview links using the function. Finally, the update also brings profile pictures and cards more to the forefront by making them larger and more featured. Aside from newly added features and perks, Tinder also overhauled its UI, making utilization smoother. The app update is currently available for iOS.
