A new Kickstarter project promises a 2-in-1 Apple Lightning and Micro USB cable to charge all your devices.
Dubbed LMcable, this charging cable does not discriminate, supporting iPhone, Android, and Windows mobile and tablet users with its 2-in-1 design. "LMcable combines the function of lightning and micro USB together into one simple and innovative connector. You can use it just simply like you use the common charging cable," reads the Kickstarter campaign page. "One side of the connector is for devices with lightning ports (iPhone, iPad, iPod, etc.) Another side of the connector is for devices with micro USB ports (Android phone, external charger, etc.). LMcable is compatible with any device charged with a lightning or a micro USB port." The cable also supports fast data transfer and 2.4A fast charging. The campaign is open through March 30 and the lowest amount to score your own LMcable is $15 at this time. The lower options have already sold out.
The LMcable's campaign started on February 19, 2016 and, within 24 hours, reached its $3,550 funding goal. On February 26, the LMcable team announced that it had achieved 200 percent of its funding goal and unveiled a special full colors bundle for backers who pledge more than AU$39. Later that same day, the team announced that the cable had achieved 333 percent of its goal. At the time of writing, LMcable has over 1,600 backers and has raised over $35,000. The cable is set to start shipping sometime in April 2016.
