A new report from Bloomberg suggests that huge updates are on the way for Apple's lines of MacBooks and iPads.
(CCM) — With Apple's next event just a week away, the internet is buzzing with rumors as to what to expect from the tech giant, especially regarding the highly anticipated iPhone 7 and rumored MacBook updates. Earlier today, a new report from Bloomberg added fuel to the fire with a new batch of rumors surrounding Apple's event in October and what kind of products we can expect to see then. Citing "people familiar with the matter," the article reported that Apple plans to unveil several new Mac models, including an all-new iMac desktop, a MacBook Air laptop, a thinner MacBook Pro laptop (complete with an OLED "Dynamic Function Row" touch bar above the keyboard), as well as a new 5K standalone monitor, which has been built in collaboration with LG Electronics Inc. The company is also rumored to be updating its line of iPad Pros with new hardware and software features that focus on professional use.
All reports are purely speculative at the moment, but if history is any indication, we should be seeing some new Mac hardware by the end of this year. Updates to the iPad usually arrive early in the year, slating them for release in early 2017.
