(CCM) — France's number one high tech website, CCM (CommentCaMarche.net), has introduced a Russian version. Available since June, CCM Russia joins the multilingual roster of CCM websites. The new site offers how-tos, downloads, and forums. It is an all-in-one library where everyday users and tech professionals can find tips on the latest in the high tech world.
CCM Russia is specifically tailored for all Russian speaking users, whether they are in Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, or elsewhere in the world. CCM's Russian website integrates both international content as well as information about successful local influencers, such as Yandex, Telegram, VKontakte, Odnoklassniki, Kaspersky, Mail.ru, etc. It is edited by a team of Russian journalists that works directly with CCM's international team in Paris. The Russian edition will also benefit from content produced by CCM's global network of journalists, translators, and content editors.
Similar to its French sister site, CCM Russia offers a streamlined forum platform, where users are able to post their questions and answer those of other users. The new site, which is adapted for all screens and is mobile-friendly, is also present on Twitter, Facebook, and VKontakte, Russia's most popular social network.
CCM is especially excited to roll out CCM Russia as Russian is one of the most spoken languages in the world and one of the most used languages on the internet. (CCM Russia is CCM's first edition to use the cyrillic alphabet.) The country is also home to a variety of technology companies. This unveiling comes on the heels of the unveilings of CCM Hindi in 2015 and of CCM Indonesia in 2016, the latter of which now reaches millions of users.
Comment Ça Marche (French for "How does it work?") was first launched in 1999 by French entrepreneur Jean-François Pillou and is currently edited by France's Figaro CCM Benchmark Group. CCM websites offer comprehensive content about high tech, health, and legal issues in 11 languages (French, English, Spanish, Portuguese, German, Italian, Polish, Dutch, Hindi, Indonesian, and Russian). CCM's goal is to make technology more simple and accessible to everyone. Every month, CCM reaches over a hundred million users throughout North and Latin America, Europe, and Southeast Asia and is ranked third worldwide among tech news sites by SimilarWeb.
The Figaro CCM Benchmark Group is France's top French digital content editor. The group also edits foreign-language websites, like the Journal des Femmes (available in French, Italian, Portuguese, and Arabic), in addition to the CCM International Health editions in English, Spanish, Portuguese, German, and Italian. The Figaro CCM Benchmark Group is headquartered in Paris, France and has an international presence in more than 40 countries.
