Viral marketing

Viral marketing is a method of marketing based on word of mouth. This concept can be applied to change management from the principle that it is better to succeed completely in a project with a limited scope than have a questionable implementation of a project with a wider scope.

Carrying on from this principle, it may be conceivable to deploy a project in a small number of departments in order to achieve complete employee satisfaction which may then cause envy in neighboring departments through example. The term "viral marketing" is often used to describe the deployment of a project by word of mouth.
