Gnome Nanny
Linux, English
As the internet provides a wide variety of data, parents need to control what their kids are doing online for their safety. Gnome Nanny has been created for that purposes.

Key features

Timer: There is an option where parents can define in which moment of the day their kids can browse online. This option allows also to define how many minutes should they be connected on the internet.

Filtering: With Gnome Nanny, parents will be able to define which sites their kids can browse. To do that, they can use the filter option and make a list of safe sites.

Monitoring: Not only can the parents view the visited websites, but they can also see emails or instant messages and know who their kids were chatting with thanks to the monitor function. This is in order to avoid cyber bullying and social network dangers.

Gnome Nanny is downloadable for free.
