Deathloop is a first-person shooter and puzzle game developed by Arkane Studios, the creators of the famous Dishonored franchise. In this adventure, you are is trapped in an endless time loop. To escape from the loop, you need to eliminate 8 different targets within a 24-hour timespan. But beware, as the last one might be your nemesis.

Gameplay

Innovative characters: The game's main character is the assassin Colt, whose mission is to eliminate eight targets in 24 hours to break the loop that trapped all these people. Julianna is the second playable character and stands as an experienced adversary who wants to stop Colt from fulfilling his plans.
Original gameplay: You will have to explore all the places on the island, understand how people act and behave, find solutions to inch your way, and kill all the people on your list. Still, make sure to make reasonable choices as if you die, you will start from scratch.
Learn and progress: As you die and revive, you will still keep all the abilities and weapons you unlocked during your previous attempts. As you go, every detail will give you considerable advantages over your opponents.

Duration and game modes

Depending on your skills, the main story will take you about 16-20 hours in length, but you are likely to spend over 30 hours if you strive to discover everything the game has to offer. In addition, two game modes are available:

Break the loop: It is the main solo game mode where you will play as Colt. Throughout your journey, you will visit the numerous places of this mysterious island, uncover its secrets, hone your skills, and find a way to break this endless loop.
Protect the loop: It's the PvP online game mode where you will play as Julianna against other players to protect the loop.
