To excute all the applications with an administrator account can be dangerous for the operating system.
Therefore, DropMyRights was developed in order to allow to launch an application from an administrateur account without the powers of the administrator. You simply to create shortcuts using this application:
- right click on the desktop "New/Shortcut"
- in the field "Enter the site..." skim to the installation repertory of DropMyRights and indicate the executable, for example: "C:\Program Files\drop\DropMyRights.exe" followed by a space and the access path to the concerned application.
For example, for Internet Explorer, the link location will be "C:\Program Files\drop\DropMyRights.exe" "C:\Program files\internet to explore \ iexplore.exe"
- click on "Next" and choose a name for the shortcut, such as "Sure Internet Explorer "
- it is possible to change the shortcut icon while right clicking on the icon and select "Property".
