JAP for Mac or Java Anon Proxy for Mac is a tool developed to hide IP address and allows its user to browse on the web without being seen by others.

Hiding: JAP for Mac is able to hide the IP address. This action is possible by encrypting the communication connection via a detour of several intermediate stations that is called Mixes. The user can choose between several Mix-Cascades to connect to.

Customization: JAP for Mac provides several settings that can be adjusted according to the user need such as managing Cookies, personalizing the display windows and still many others. Indeed, the user can choose between simplified view and extended view.

Display: with this program, the user is given the possibility to choose whether he wants to turn on or off the program via its interface. It also shows the degree of the anonymity through an arrow that can point on OK, Fair or High.
