Notifications for Facebook is an app where you can receive your Facebook notifications directly in the Android notification drawer, it is private and has a good battery response. It does not require that the Facebook Platform is turned on, meaning that the notifications will drop directly on your notification center without having to access the Facebook app. It gives you an Android notification for every new message, friend request, update or event. The notifications can be enabled or disabled per category, with a custom sound for each.

The app requires the following permissions:

  • Permission to access the Internet in order to check Facebook.
  • Access to notifications on your phone, for example, to receive a slight vibration for the notification.
  • System Alert Window this is used for running the update without interrupting the user.
