Thunderbird - Delete emails after X number of days

By default Thunderbird will clean out messages that are more that 30 days old, however you can configure this option to your convenience, here's how:
  • Click on Edit > Folder Properties > Retention tab.
  • Uncheck the box next to "Use my account settings" to acces the options that have been grayed out.
  • Next to Delete messages more that....[Select the number of Days]
