Firefox - Disable the session restore feature



Firefox will automatically save your sessions at a pre-defined time interval, thus allowing you to restore your browsing sessions, if the browser crashed. To disable this feature, follow the below procedure:

Procedure

  • Open Firefox.
  • In the address bar type the following command:
  • about:config
  • Click on the "I'll be careful, I promise..." button
  • In the Filter field type:"browser.sessionstore.enabled"
  • Double click on the entry and set the value to False
