KDE - Enable Double Click

April 2018

An annoying feature of KDE, especially if you have been using Windows for the most part of your life, is that upon clicking on a file/folde, it automatically opens it

Here's how to have the old good Double click again.
  • Click on Start (Kmenu)> System Settings > Keyboard&Mouse
  • In the left panel select the mouse icon to get the "Mouse Settings" Menu.
  • Simpl check the "Double Click to open files and Folders (select icons on first click).
