Windows 7 - Creating a shortcut to Add/Remove Program


To create a desktop shortcut point to the "Add/Remove Program":
  • Do a Right Click on your Desktop
  • Select >New > Shortcut
  • In the "Type the location of the item, type:
    • rundll32.exe shell32.dll,Control_RunDLL appwiz.cpl
  • Click on Next
  • Give a name to the shortcut
    • Validate with OK
