In order to enjoy your MP4 movies you must switch to an input plug-in that supports the MP4 format, follow these steps:

  • Open Winamp.
  • Click on the Options menu > Preferences > Plug-ins > Input.
  • In the right pane select Nullsoft DirectShow Decoder v1.08 and click Configure.
  • In the window that opens, add MP4 to the extension list (do not forget the semicolon in front), then click on the OK button.
