How to uninstall Outlook Express

Outlook Express is the default email client software provided with Microsoft Windows and it is not listed in the Add/Remove Programs feature.

Method 1

  • Go to the Start menu and select Run
  • Enter the following comman
    • C:\Program Files\Outlook Express\setup50.exe /APP:OE UNINSTALL/PROMPT
  • Click OK

Method 2

  • Open the Control Panel
  • Choose Add / Remove Programs
  • Click on Add / Remove Windows Components
  • Uncheck Outlook Express and click Next
