Microsoft Access- alternative to the IF function

Is there a function in Access that allows me to set conditions as in Excel? I have not found the function IF ...


The equivalent of the Excel IF function is called iif function under Access. Its use and syntax are identical.

iif ( condition, value_true, value_false )
  • value_true:value returned when condition is met
  • value_false: value returned when condition isn't met.
