Excel - The substitute function

This function allows you to substitute a character with another in a string of text.
Syntax:Substitute( text, old_text, new_text, nth_postition )

  • text: Refers to the string that will be used during the substitution.
  • old_text: Matches the character that you wish to replace.
  • new_text: Corresponds to the characters that will be used to replace the one in the old_text.
  • nth_position: allows you to specify some parameters
