Excel - The SEARCH function

Description : Allows you to search for the position a character (or string) within another string.
Syntax: Search( text1, text2, starting_position )
  • text1: The character or substring you want to search for.
  • text2: The string in which the search shall be performed.
  • starting_position. Start searching as from x character in the string.
