Windows XP - Command Prompt disabled by the administrator

I'm getting the following message:

The command prompt has been disabled by your administrator.

  • Under Windows XP Pro:
  • Start > Run > Type gpedit.msc
  • User Configuration > Administrator accounts > System > uncheck "disable access to the command prompt.
