iPhoto isn't responding

I'm unable to close iPhoto nor I can turn off/restart my computer, from the error message I got, it seems that some photos are still being transfered (but's that not the case)?
Solution
- Click on the Apple Menu
- Force Quit
- You shall have a list of all the running applications
- Select iPhoto and click on the Force Quit button.
