Ubuntu - How to disable Wi-Fi on my laptop?

April 2018

I've installed Ubuntu on my laptop and since then the Wi-Fi hotkey is not working (I can't turn off Wi-Fi). Are there any other way to access these settings?
To disable Wi-Fi:
  • Right-Click on the NetworkManager icon NetworkManager (in the top panel) uncheck "Enable Wireless"
