App Store request: An unknown error (100) has occurred


When trying to connect to the App store under MacOS:
 An unknown error (100) has occurred

Solution

  • Close the Mac App Store and iTunes.
  • Open iTunes, go to the iOS App Store and download a random free app
  • Once downloaded, you can delete it and then open up the Mac App Store.
