Windows 7 - unable to open Excel files

April 2018

Issue

I can't open my Excel files under Windows 7 (64 bit). I've tried reinstalling Office 2007, with no success

Solution

  • Open Excel 2007 (Use the main icon , in the Start Menu) > Click the Office Button> Excel Options> Advanced> General> uncheck "Ignore other applications, that use Dynamic Data Exchange"
