Galaxy S II - transfer files via WiFi Direct

The Galaxy SII possess a nice feature allowing you to communicate with WiFi enabled device over a wireless network without prior authentication to the access point (router).
  • To activate this feature
  • Tap on Menu > Applications > Settings > Wireless and network > Wi-Fi Direct settings > Wi-Fi Direct.
  • Tap on Menu > Scan
  • Select the device of your choice and tap on connect .
  • Once the other user accepts the request , the devices will be paired
  • You can now send files over the WLAN (in the same way as using Bluetooth)
