Windows 7 - Add a shutdown button to the taskbar

To add a shutdown button to the taskbar, first create a shortcut on the desktop:
  • Right-click > New Shortcut
  • In the location field , type :
  • "Shutdown.exe -s -t 00"
  • Click Next and name the shortcut (default name: Shutdown).
  • Once create, you can change the icon:
  • The next step is quite logical, click and drag the shortcut over the taskbar.
