Windows 7 - Configure the mouse over delay


To adjust the mouse hover delay (Taskbar icons, Start Menu items ..etc):
  • Open the registry editor (Start > Run > regedit)
  • Go to: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Mouse
  • Double click on "MouseHoverTime" and change its value (default 400 milliseconds)
  • Once done, close the registry and restart your PC
