How to Hide the People Widget of Gmail

The People widget of Gmail displays information about your contacts (contact name, email address...). If you rarely or never use this feature, here's how to disable it:

Sign-in to your Gmail Account. Click on the small gear button and go to Settings. In the General tab, scroll to the People Widget section. Select Hide the people widget:

Click on the Save Changes button.
