Blogger integrates Google+ mentions

Ask a question

Blogger, the famous blogging platform from Google provides some integration features with the Google + social network. Users can now interactively "mention" users form the social network in their post, these mentions may refer to personal profiles or company pages.
  • In the same way as the "@" mentions on Twitter and Facebook, this new communication tool integrated with Blogger allows users of the platform to make reference (create a link) to particular Google Plus accounts in their publications simply by adding the "+" before the user name. Like this: "+nameofuser".
  • Upon placing your mouse on the link a summary of the target page will be displayed. "The ideal way to give credit the co-author of a post, ask a question or start a conversation with a user of Google Plus" explains Google.
