Windows 7 - Restore Windows firewall to default settings

After an extended period of use, modifications made to your system will leave your Windows Firewall with a lot of unnecessary rules.
To reset the Windows Firewall to default settings, follow the below procedure:
  • Click on Start > Control Panel > Windows Firewall.
  • Click on "Restore defaults".
  • Click on "Restore Defaults" again and confirm:
