A web version of Flipboard is now available!

The mobile application Flipboard, which allows mobile users to create and share personalized and stylish magazines from different sources of information (news feeds, social networks, etc..), is now accessible via web browsers. After Instagram and Feedly, its now the turn of Flipboard to be optimized for a "sedentary use" on a PC.

Compatible browsers:
  • Internet Explorer (as from version 9)
  • Safari
  • Chrome
  • Firefox

Design and features of the web version
On its official blog, the Californian startup indicates that "the interface has been specially designed for navigation on a computer screen, while keeping the neat appearance of the mobile version". Users now have the opportunity to view and create magazines in fullscreen mode.
