Windows 8 - Assign a keyboard shortcut to a folder

Windows 8 give you the ability to assign a keyboard shortcut to the folder of your choice. The procedure simple:
First create a desktop shortcut for the folder:
  • Right-click on folder > Send to > Desktop
  • Once created, right-click on the desktop shortcut > Properties > Shortcut/
  • Define your key combination in the "Shortcut key" field (CTRL , ALT , SHIFT...):
  • Click on Apply to validate.
