Android - How to install WhatsApp on a Wi-Fi only device?

If you tried to install WhatsApp on a Wi-Fi only Android tablet or smartphone (no 3G), you will received a message indicating that the application is not compatible with your device. The trick to overcome this problem is to download the application on your PC and then transfer it to the Android device. Follow these steps:
  • Download the WhatsApp APK format from Google Play (on your PC).
  • Once th APK file is downloaded on your hard drive, transfer it to your tablet using the data cable, Bluetooth or email
  • Double tap on the APK file to open the installation wizard.
  • Note that: At the end of the process, you will need to associate a phone number to the application.
