Windows 8 - Include compressed files when searching in non-indexed locations

To include compressed files when searching in non-indexed locations under Windows 8, follow the below procedure:
  • Open the File Explorer and go the the View Tab
  • Click on "Options" to open Folder Options dialog.
  • Select the "Search" tab.
  • Check "Include compressed files (ZIP, CAB...)".
  • Click on "Apply".
