How to boot into Safe Mode on Windows 8 and Windows 8.1?

This procedure was conducted on a non-UEFI PC with three version of Windows installed
  • Three primary partitions: Windows 7, Windows 8 and 8.1.
  • Note that: This procedure might not work for the UEFI PC coming with a pre-installed version of Windows 8-8.1
  • Before proceeding it is recommended that you create a restore point of your system:
