Microsoft has announced the availability of "3D Builder
", a 3D printing application for devices running Windows 8.1 (only). The "3D Builder" app is a response to growing demand for 3D printing, particularly in the U.S. market.
Windows 8.1: native support for 3D printing
By launching "3D Builder" , Microsoft would mainly benefit from the compatibility of Windows 8.1 with the file formats commonly used and some 3D printing terminals.
The application include several tools to assist in the creation of 3D objects: it proposes a catalog of objects and allows you to merge different objects together to create unique pieces.
