Adobe Reader - Prevent PDF files from connecting to websites (to share or get information)




You can configure Adobe Reader too prevent PDF files from connecting to websites to share or get information:
  • Open Adobe Reader.
  • Click on the Edit menu > Preferences.
  • Scroll to the Trust Manager Section
  • In the "Internet Access from PDF files outside the web browser" section, click on the "Change Settings" button.
  • Select "Block PDF files' access to all web sites"

  • Save your settings.
