The Document Foundation, which oversees the development of LibreOffice, the open source office suite, announces the availability of cloud application for the iPad and Chromebooks.
Access to the cloud version of LibreOffice is now possible thanks to the technology developed by the Californian startup, rollApp .
Via the rollApp cloud, users can connect to the LibreOffice application of their choice (spreadsheet , presentation, drawing) directly from their web browser without having to install the application on their device.
The Document Foundation states that access to LibreOffice via rollApp can work with documents stored in the cloud, namely on Dropbox, Google Drive and Box.
