You are not comfortable or don't like Windows 8? You can revert to the previous version of the Windows operating system: Windows 7. If you have a Professional version of Windows 8, you can easily downgrade to Windows 7 (legally and free of charge). You simply need a valid license key and a Windows 7 installation DVD. Note that: make sure that the downgrade operation will not cancel the warranty of your PC or laptop (Windows 8 pre-installed), this information is available on the manufacturer's website.
If your PC is running Windows 8 Pro, accept the license agreement, the end user agreement (EULA ) and then perform the downgrade. Get genuine software support and a Windows 7 product key. In the case that you are unable to activate the software online (if it has been activated in advance), activate it by phone. Once your disposable activation code is obtained, activate the software. In any case, check if your motherboard has a UEFI firmware or BIOS, by going in the BIOS settings of the motherboard. Install the UEFI or BIOS version for Windows 7 .
Before starting the installation of Windows 7:
- Make sure you have all the required drivers to run your different hardware components.
- Change the primary boot device and select your DVD player.
- Backup your data before the operation and make a copy of Windows 8.
