Windows 8.1 - How to create a homegroup

You want to share folders and files with the other PCs connected to your network (at home or in the office)? You can create a homegroup for this purpose.

The procedure is as follows on Windows 8.1:
  • Open the Control Panel > Network and Sharing Center.
  • Click on Homegroup.
  • In the window that opens, click on "Create a homegroup".

  • Click on Next.

  • Select the items you want to share and click on Next:

  • A password to access your Homegroup will be generated.
