Windows 8.1 - Display the Windows PowerShell instead of the Command prompt when pressing Windows key + X
Upon pressing the Windows key + X or right-clicking on the Start menu, a small menu is displayed. It regroups all the important features of the Windows 8/8.1.
By default the options to access the command prompt is displayed, but you can replace these options by the Windows Powershell.
Procedure:
- Right-click on the taskbar > Properties.
- Go to the Navigation tab.
- Check "Replace Command Prompt with Windows PowerShell in the menu when I right-click the lower corner or press Windows + X".
- Click on Apply and then on OK to validate.
