Fix stuck pixels with JScreenFix

Fix stuck pixels with JScreenFix

Issue

Bright colored dots have appeared on your LCD or OLED screens and won't go away even after restarting your PC.

Solution

First you should determine if the pixels are stuck or dead.
  • A stuck pixel will display a bright color (either red, green or blue - RGB).
  • Dead pixels will display a dark spot or white color, and are unlikely to be repaired.

You can try to fix stuck pixels by gently rubbing your screen, to reset thier color value. Alternatively you can use JscreenFix, a free service that doesn't require the installation of any programs.
  • Simply drag the pixel fixer box over the area of your screen containing the stuck pixel and leave it to work for at least 10 minutes.
