Comment Moderation on YouTube

This tip will teach you how to prevent comments from being displayed on your YouTube channel without your approval. This simple setting can be enabled using YouTube's built-in comment moderation tool. Sign in to YouTube with your Google account. Click on the Profile badge > Creator Studio > Community > Comment settings:

Go to Default settings and make sure that both Comments on your channel and Comments on your new videos are set to use the Hold all comments for review preset:

Click on Save to apply your new settings. You can manage comments by going into YouTube's community settings. Click on Community > Comments > Held for Review. Here, you'll find all the tools to review, validate, or delete comments:
