Ubuntu - How to add a new keyboard layout?

If you need to add a new keyboard layout (Spanish, French...etc) under Ubuntu, follow the below procedure:
  • Click on the Settings menu > System Settings.
  • Go to Personal > Keyboard Layout.
  • Click on the small + button and select the language of your choice.
  • Click on Add
