PlayStation 4 - How to Enable Voice Commands

Learn how to control your PlayStation 4 with your voice. Indeed you can rapidly move through the menus of your console or take screenshots using simple voice commands.


- You will require a compatible microphone/headset. The headset/microphone can be connected directly to the PS4 controller (3.5mm jack).
- Enable Voice commands on your PS4.


Go to the Settings Menu > System and tick the Operate PS4 with Voice.

Using voice commands:

Say the "Playstation" hotword followed by the action you wish to perform:
  • Take screenshots - "Playstation take screenshot"
  • Go back to homescreen - "Playstation homescreen"
