Windows 8.1 - Show the pointer location when pressing the CTRL key

April 2018

You can configure Windows 8.1 to display the pointer location (small circle animation around the pointer) when the CTRL key is pressed. A useful feature when using multiple monitors. To enable this option under Windows 8.1 follow the below procedure:
  • Go to the Control Panel > Mouse > Pointer Options.
  • Check "Show location of pointer when I press CTRL key".
  • Click on Ok to validate.
