Mac OS X - Turn off UI sounds effects


This FAQ explains how to turn off user interface sounds on Mac OS X.
The procedure is as follows:
  • Click on the Apple menu > Preferences.
  • Go to Sounds > Sound Effects
  • Uncheck the following option:
    • Play user interface sound effects.
